Davis Square Tiles

This http://davissquaretilesproject.com/davis-square-tiles-project is just excellent! I loved going through and reading the stories from the adults who designed these tiles, 30 years ago.

I can sympathize with their feelings about how Somerville has changed since they were kids, because I feel the very same way about our own hood (complete with kickball in the street memories, being surrounded by yuppie condos, the loss of a family-based community, improvement in crime levels, lack of affordable housing, etc.).
