Also silliness from our internal mail system (keep in mind, I work for a hospital):
"Calling all volunteers ...

Its that time of year again! We are looking for 'able bodied', motivated volunteers to help us test our level of preparedness to real or imagined events.

If you are between the ages of 8-80, have minimal acting skills, and have a strong desire to temporarily wander outside of your present environment, this call is for you. We are looking for 10 'victims' to help us with our next scheduled drill. Time commitment is approximately 2 hours, day shift, May 8. "

Waltham rawked the house BTW, I had so much fun and it was cool to see some more people that I used to hang out with that I haven't seen since HS (well, and some others too that I didn't really like in HS, that used to make fun of all us headbangers and NOW are coming out to see the band play, blech)!

I think I gained them a few more fans and a couple of lead singer groupies too (hee hee, as she leaned over and said "Oh my god he is SO damn sexy") :)

Unfortunately they didn't have any of the old 'Just another kid from Moody' shirts, they told me they'd grab one for me from their space and I'd get it from them the next couple of weeks.

Am I a nerd because I'm so damned proud and beamy for my friends?

It sucks that they are playing at Harper's Ferry. I have sworn nevr to set foot there again. It further sucks that they are opening for Mr. Brownstone, who are REALLY, REALLY good.

When my aunt worked at her last job, she was one of the coordinators for Logan's emergency plans. so we got to go to logan, get some creepy make up put on (They told my sister that when the plane crashed she was in the bathroom and hit her head, so she had a huge fake cut put on the center of her forehead) and then we got bussed out to an unused runway

It was cool, they had "dead" people lying around the plane and we were told to scream at any men who came up to us. very interesting way to spend the day
