Its Friday, I'm wearing jeans, silvery sneakers and have a comfy sweater to keep out the rainy chill. I have a lot of work today to do so here's hoping that the day goes by quickly.
I listened to Motley Crue's "Girls Girls Girls" this morning on the way to work. Every time I hear the title song I think of The Foxy Lady (they play that song every hour when the women parade off the main stage to do their t-shirt dance). And "You're all I Need" is probably one of the cooler metal ballads - schmoopy and death all wrapped into one. My hair is pretty big today; its probably the combination of humidity and musical selection that are to blame.
I'm wondering what B and I should do with ourselves this evening. We're both recovering from colds so it can't be too crazy, but are sick of sitting in our den and watching the TV (last night I treated him to "The Watcher in the Woods" and Cirque Du Soleil's "Quidam"). What would you fine people do on a Friday night if you wanted to take it easy but avoid TV/Movies?
Is it summer yet? Hampton Beach is calling my name.

(cats love to help themselves to the pieces on the floor though. so be on the lookout for such things if you have cats!)

Date: 2003-06-04 07:08 am (UTC)Hmm, sometimes I guess you could call the overgrowth in our yard "woods" :)
"cocktails on the deck by torchlight"
Mmm, I am so looking forward to having a summer that's not made up of lots of plaster dust :)
"jacuzzi"
We really need to find a time to have a petsitter and come camp up at the Inn soon.
"stargaze"
Another 'I can't wait to do this'. Its been too rainy lately but MAN is the sky clear out where we live now (not far from Waltham, but much clearer).
"listen to the wild beasties"
Hee hee, we do that almost every night when we let out the bunnies or try and figure out what types of birds are swarming around our house.
I can't wait to see you guys again!
