I just started my next book, I'm hoping to finish it before going back to school and needing to devote time to reading and writing for class.

I'm really liking it quite a bit - if you're into Boston history, urbanization, sociology, race relations, organized crime, learning of issues of poverty or Irish-American experiences you'd probably get a lot out of it. I found out about this from some classmates that had to read it for a class last year.

That is a great book. I went to High School with many girls from there. People tend to forget that there are many housing projects there and parts of it contain heavy industry. The "T" only skirts the edges. I think there is only one supermarket there (Flanagan's). I was always struck on it being a dirt poor area when I would visit friend's houses and that it was unsafe for outsiders like me(even with my redhair I stood out like a sore thumb). But even more surprised to find out that it was the poorest white urban neighborhoods in the country.
