dancerjodiBadAndy is out at a job site right now, and met an employee of that company who is selling a 79 Monte Carlo for $700.
Shit.
The thing is insured and is running, Bad Andy says it looks good from the pics.
He'll get more details from the guy after he's done with his job. If the body is in good shape its worth $700 just to sit in my garage and gradually be rebuilt (oh, and BadAndy wouldn't have any fun at all doing that, nope - can you sense my sarcasm?).
Hee hee, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Mine was dark blue (though the hood was light blue - the guy that had the car before me gave it to me for free and left me to fix the hood and grill).
Damn, that hood came from Marlboro too! From the junk yard on Rt. 20 (Post Road Auto). I had to walk through the yard with my Dad who brought his own tools so we could take the thing off of the junk heap it was attached to. That was before the days of the internet, when I called all over fricken MA to find a hood and grill that wasn't dented.
Then to only 1 month later get rear-ended (and totalled) by a tow truck. Ouch!
Ah, the good ole days!
