You know those Salada tea bags that have fortunes on them?

We have those at work (yeah, they are crap, but I keep forgeting to bring my own tea in) and I just got one that read:

"Guillotine: cure for stiff necks"

I want to know who gets paid to write these things :)

Interesting side note on fortunes......

Kind of out of context, but what you said reminds me of how my husband and I always end every fortune we read with the end-statement of.... "in bed"....

So you'd have to read the one you mentioned as:

"Guillotine: cure for stiff necks...in bed!"

Always cracks us up. ;)

i don't think I don't know anyone that doesn't add "in bed" to the end of fortunes. With the exception on me. I just don't see the amusement in it. I had one roommate who saved hers and wrote in the words "in bed" and stuck them on the refridgerator. I found that quite annoying. Oh well.

I object to fortunes that aren't in fact fortunes. I hate it when my fortune cookie has a platitude or a joke. I dunno.... I tend to feel jipped!
