Festival of the Lion

If B is cool with it, I'd like to check out the http://www.festivalofthelion.com/ this weekend, its less than a 1/2 hour from our house :)

Is anyone going? I was curious to check it out, then found that IWG people would be there, then found that there would be bellydance performers too.

The only issue is garb . . . my bodice isn't too comfy (not that its too tight, its that it digs into my hips and leaves a huge red mark there - its just not a good style). So I'm not sure what to wear.

Gold Key? I'll probably just suffer with the uncomfortable corset. That last time we went to Faire I wasn't in garb, it just wasn't as much fun!

I'll be there on Saturday only, in garb, and partaking in the Wench Walk that IWG is doing. Just haven't decided what garb to wear for it yet. So many decisions.....

It appears we'll be going, though I didn't sign up for the wench walk thing (never having even seen one before and not knowing any of the IWG members that I've seen posting on the list aside from you . . . I've kept my mouth shut about it :)

I plan on going, wasn't sure if you and B were going to be up to it with DC being so near. So you are going Saturday? what time are you planning on being there? at opening or a little later?

I don't know if I will make it or not for obvious reasons. It's a good faire though. I've always enjoyed it (been there last two years) and it looks like they're trying to get bigger.

Since I still have my cold we're going to play tomorrow by ear but yes - look for us there :)
