I'm wearing a skirt today
Sep. 29th, 2003 08:29 amI don't usually do that at work, though I'm going to Ceremony for "Goths Gone Wild" after dancing, and didn't feel like carrying even more stuff (i.e. boots) with me, so I wore my boots to work.
After work I'll do something yet to be determined, then go to dance class, then meet Brian at Ceremony. This will be a LONG day :)
It was a nice, laid-back weekend. I got the pattern done for my Padme Handmaiden Battle Costume (from Episode I) and sewed it up in Muslin. Now I just need to buy a butt-load of velvet and the lining for it :) I decided for now to just buy some pants and a shirt since I don't have tons of time before Halloween . . . I'll make something more authentic later.
Brian and I picked up some Halloween decorations for our yard, whoot! On the halloween note the Oxford pumpkin display is now at the Roger William's Zoo in RI. B and I used to go back when it was still in Oxford, then it moved to the Salem MA Common (which was lame, I missed the 'walking through the woods' feel). Now its back in the woods. I have to check it out again this year: http://www.rogerwilliamsparkzoo.org/jackolantern/index.html
I can't believe that Wednesday is 10/1, wow!
