I just found out that Jet and his bro Sam from Sam Black Church have formed another band, "Jetfuel". Three of my old friends are going to be performing with them live (though Jet and Sam wrote the music).
For those that don't know about SBC, you can find a history of the band here:

Some of the old albums are on emusic.com. I also found references to them here: http://www.wonderdrugrecords.com/sbc.htm
Neato! This is a show Brian and I could both go to :)

Jesse Crandell didn't teach in Keene, NH. Actually Mr. Crandel was Hinsdale's music teacher for both the Elementary school and the High School. In fact, I can remember many a morning sitting in my first period high school English class listening to Jesse playing a little GNR in the room across the hall. I will admit that it was the only time Hinsdale ever had a decent band.
I even have a yearbook with his picture in it. Its either my junior or senior year. I was the one who cropped it for the yearbook. In one of their first CD's the schools are mentioned in the liner notes.
He was a very sweet man and I remember him fondly!
