I'm done with my Social Psychological Context of Health Care
course (http://www2.www.umb.edu/course/course.php?cn=sociol682) as of last night, whee! I passed in my final paper so that I could focus on the last work I need to do - a paper in my Organizations course (http://www2.www.umb.edu/course/course.php?cn=sociol601) . Its due on the 18th, but I'm hoping to get it done by the 16th at the latest. Then Christmas gift sewing and pleasure reading will commence (again)! I'm almost done with "Return of the King" - all the main stuff has happened, they are all just saying goodbye and returning home now . . .
Next books include Urban Tribes, Ishmael (which I found at a church holiday fair for sale), a couple of new-agey books and a new one I heard about on NPR yesterday that I'd like to grab and that I think I would really identify with, "Limbo, Blue Collar Roots, White Collar Dreams" link
Next semester I'll be taking Evaluation Research (which I'm REALLY excited about, since this is the kind of work I'd like to be doing) http://www2.www.umb.edu/course/course.php?cn=sociol655 and will be doing my thesis (where I'll have a class a week related to it).
This summer I'll do my field work (6 credits worth) and in the fall I have to take one more "core" course, I'm hoping that they'll be offering Social Problems http://www2.www.umb.edu/course/course.php?cn=sociol620 .
Doot doot doot!
