dancerjodiI hadn't read e-mail or checked LJ since Wednesday around noon - had a bit of catching up to do :)
Xmas Eve and day were nice; we spent time with family and friends at various places. I'm feeling myself get back to normal Jodi state as the fact that I have free time and a break from school *really* sets in. I feel so bad that Brian has to deal with my neurotic ass during the school semesters. We're almost there babe.
No word on grades for my Organizations class, but I got an A on my final paper and for the class in the other one (Socio-Psychological Context of Health Care).
I ended up with lots of goodies from the holiday, including the Lord of The Rings Barbies, things to pamper my feet and fingernails, The Muppet Show DVD set (though its on backorder for a month), and that super pretty dragon china from The Franklin Mint. Now we have service for 4 - I'd like to get another set for 4 and perhaps some serving bowls or something. I'll also need to be inviting friends over for swanky dinners on said plates :)
My dad is coming over today to fix our kitchen counter - he didn't put a support under the corner beneath the lazy suzan so the counter has dropped a bit from the wall, making a huge crack in the caulking between it and the back-splash tile. He should have been here 20 minutes ago, this is really odd.
Today we'll be lazy around the house, go food shopping, meet up with friends and then head out for Rocky (friends are doing an alum show of sorts). Whoot! I need to find something fabulous to wear that I don't end up freezing my ass off in! :)
