If they want people to go to the con, shouldn't they advertise beyond "here's a con, its at this hotel, here's 5 people that will be here" and "there's great stuff, art, literature, movies, dancing"? I'd hope that a little more than one week before they con there would be some kind of general theme for events that are happening that they'd be able to share on the website.
I think I'm just to anal and organized for my own good sometimes - it gets me frustrated. I also feel bad for friends that are running around like chickens with their heads cut off right now in the planning :)
It's not just you we're very short staffed this year.... The person running the web is also filling in to run another dept.
