dancerjodiThe Operations Director at my office was having an issue with my old employer over something and had been communicating with people I used to work very closely with on the Encounter Data project. This project is the reason I actually was laid off from Tufts over a year ago. I had just finished this massive project and passed it off so that I could move on to work on bigger and better things. I really wasn't going to move on to bigger and better things at THP after all though, they were just getting things ready so that they could lay me off.
Here's my post over a year ago on the pass-off right before I was laid off (see post at the bottom of that day) - talk about a downer!:

I don't think I'll ever get to get away from this project :) I just e-mailed one of the guys I worked very closely with on the Encounter Data stuff i.e. "my buddy Bill" to try to nip some miscommunication in the bud and do some proactive work to make our own lives easier. My guess is he's going to be pretty shocked to find me working here.
