dancerjodiIts hard waking up on Wednesday mornings being tired (as usual) and knowing it will be a long day. Then I think hey, after I get past this one its all downhill coasting to the weekend! :)
Homework, pampering, being anal and weekend plans
My boss gave the OK on my thesis thoughts, yay! I just e-mailed my professor with ideas hoping to get some kind of feedback before tonight's class. I read through some more journal articles last night, though when they started making me fall asleep and it was only 8:00 I put in another hour and then proceeded to do my nails instead keeping up with the reading (I'm through 1/2 of the stack, only like, 24 articles or so to go in this round). One of my goals this semester is to give myself time for this kind of pampering. My mind is thankful for it as are my hands (that otherwise end up with bloody, broken cuticles). One of these days I'll actually take the foot jacuzzi thing out of its box and try it out (Brian got me one for Christmas but I'm kind of scared of spilling water all over our living room floor).
It was cool hanging out with Bad Andy in the living room; its been a while. He and Brian must surely think I'm nuts after seeing the pile of journal articles that I'm making my way through and learning of my obsessive-compulsive method of reading and organizing them. :)
I want to dress fabulous and go dancing real soon now! We'll be at the Bella Morte show tomorrow, a Waltham show on Friday, a party on Saturday and are taking our first class at Grand Opening on Sunday night ("Boudoir Photography", a birthday present to Brian from me).
It should be one kickin' weekend but won't offer an opportunity to play dress-up. I'll need to reserve that for next weekend maybe ("Hell In Love" on Friday the 13th maybe? I could break out the Catherine Coatney Burgandy PVC outfit).
