From a quick look at the demo, they offer the options to download the files in tiff, ps or pdf format. Can you try the same page in each of those to see which is faster? My guess would be PDF, but your printer(s) may be optimised for different file formats. Also, try downloading them and printing instead of printing from the site, and then setting your print options: look for an economy/normal versus high quality setting and b&w versus greyscale if you just need to be able to read it rather than have it be super high quality.
