dancerjodiAn old friend of the family has (I discovered) opened his own martial arts studio in Australia. He moved there from Boston years ago to study under the world grand master of Wing Chun http://www.cheungswingchun.com/WWCKFAindex.html . He was even deemed "Hall of Fame Kung Fu Instructor of the Year" in 1997 by Blitz Magazine http://www.sportzblitz.net/blitz-martial-arts/magazine.php. After working there for a while he's moved on to open http://www.qianlidao.com/

I saw some pictures of his from the Shaolin Temple that he had sent to my Dad (among other things on a trip to China). Some of them are so beautiful and unlike anything you'd ever see in Boston, I had to share (follow the "photos" link from the quianlidao.com site).
