This is just silly, after killing myself at work all week I had a meeting for 1/2 the day, had lunch, and now its 1:00 and I leave in 3 hours. I have work to do but nothing that will be a frantic rush for Monday. Life is good.
And the weather is supposed to be beautiful this weekend, yay! Of course, I'll be inside with my SPSS and my writing, but opening the windows and getting some fresh air will be a good thing.
The sleepover is still on. I have 2 confirmed (Sordid and Tiggerette). Lachesis - let me know if you want to come by or not :)
I think I'll make some chocolate mint tea. I brought in our stash from uptontea.com since we got another variety of the same stuff from the Di's - they picked some up for us during their recent trip to England.
On not fun notes, as is the case every year the winter has caught up with me, and I gained a little weight. I need to get my butt in gear and get moving. And God, I'll be excited when school is done for the semester. I'll be seeking out another gym - probably in Waltham since I drive through there on the way home from work and since that's where we want to move to.
I've also been thinking of auditioning for a summer show - the Reagle Players are doing West Side Story, Grease and The Music Man http://www.reagleplayers.org/auditions.htm . But god, my singing voice is so out of step. I'd love a generic chorus part . . . but I hate singing in front of people for these auditions. The good thing is that there is some time before the auditions so I can do some singing in my car :) Also, last year the auditions were on a weeknight and I had class - these are on a Saturday morning. I've danced with one of the choreographers before, and she asked me to join in some of her tap classes after working with me . . . so that's a good sign.
We shall see!
