I'm back at work. I'm happy to say that my drive to work from Waltham took < 1/2 hour. I drove over to get on 95 at Totten Pond Rd. I'm going to see how long it takes me to get to the Rts 20 and 30 exits and see which one makes more sense.

Its nice to be settling into the normal routine. While I was away they collected a bunch of EMR surveys and entered the values from them into the database I built. I have to get in and do some analysis before a 1:30 meeting.

Moving has given me such a new lease on life. Brian mentioned that I had basically been unhappy for 2 years (since we moved to Framingham). I never really noticed anything different because when things to bad - I just adapt and don't complain too much. More than a few people have commented on how I seem so much happier now.

We're going to Ceremony tonight for Scissorkiss' last show. Poor Brian is on call, so he has to bring laptop and cell phone and hope he doesn't get an emergency page.

I went to a baby shower for a good friend of mine that I've known since we were two years old. I am so deliriously happy for her and the hubby and their baby girl is so beautiful (I took a picture of the three of them but Brian has to unpack the computer room until we can get that and other house pics off of the little digital camera). I also saw other friends from HS from the same social circle - the metal chicks. Now that I'm in Waltham and that we're all reconnecting we should hopefully be seeing each other more often than every couple of years when someone gets married or has a baby. This makes me really happy too.

Its nice to be home.

So happy for you two!

I definitely noticed a difference in you over the past two years. I'm sure part of it was living out in Framingham, changing jobs (that's always stressful), and getting your degree. I'm glad that things have come together in a configuration that will make you happier. You do a good job of grinning and bearing it, but your friends can still tell when you're sad.
