dancerjodiIts been a really long week for some reason (can you tell).
Here starts a productive couple of weeks at work. My boss is away on vacation today and will be gone for 2 weeks. I have a huge list of things to do but it will be nice to have some more freedom to do them.
I was work geeking last night - so funny! I think this means I'm old or something :) Still, it was nice talking to someone in the same general social circle that knows all the acronyms and such (usually that's reserved for Rojagato or Wanderingsuzie).
I finally finished that damned trim for the Padme costume - so now I can dress, pose, and send in my photos to join the Rebel Legion finally! For those that have no clue what I'm talking about this is the costume: http://www.padawansguide.com/amidala_battle.shtml
We have plans for dinner and at-home movie watching with friends tonight in Arlington (Office Space, whoot). Tomorrow I'll hopefully find those white PVC boots and who knows what we'll do on Saturday night - I'd love to finally check out Curses or that night in Lowell but Brian may be tired out from his day dressing as a Storm Trooper at Danger Planet. On Sunday I'm hosting a breakfast for the grandmothers in the AM and will be at a stitch and bitch in Derry NH, and then I'm hoping to catch the Broadway documentary at the Kendall that night but I need to check times.
Its too quiet here; I wish I brought some CDs with me today. I've been in a Metallica mood lately.
