"Sorrow shared is halved, and joy shared is doubled." - Native American Saying (though, my calendar doesn't note which group said this - but its still neat anyway).
Its so cool out today - which makes me excited about the fall. I like the summer and all, but I'm more of a fall kind of gal. Crisp colored leaves, baking apple pies (from apples we picked), smoshy sweaters, and the turning of the wheel are things I look forward to each year.
I'll be crafting tonight (making another pair of leggings for Brian for that Aragorn outfit - hopefully this one will fit him). BTW, this is the version of the costume we're working on (with some help from http://www.ashtonomicon.com for the armor bits - except for the maile, which Brian's making): http://www.theonering.net/movie/scrap.static/5803.html
Does anyone want to join me for stitch and bitch? Late notice and all, but its more fun doing crafty things with a companion. I have plenty of tea and cocoa to share if the cold continues :)

Date: 2004-07-28 08:13 am (UTC)Well, I get home from work at around 5:00 and Brian gets home around 6:00. I was going to make a Thai Chicken dish for dinner (you guys are welcome to join us - we have plenty . . . though if you do want dinner with us let me know about any allergies) that I'd aim to have ready around 6:00 or 6:30. After that, we'd just be crafting.
"I may be able to check in with Tziz & see if he'd be interested (he's playing hookie from school today). I definitely need to do some crafting. I'm out of whack & off center."
Well, we'd love to see you guys if you're free (though no pressure - I know the drive down and back can be a pain)! I can send you directions and such (I'm not sure what you're using for e-mail, so mail me at dancer at diabolis dot net and I can reply with info).
And the next time I'll bring the crafting to *your* place when you're free :)
