Its beautiful outside - sunny but not hot. Lots of nice breezes.
On the note of good shoes preventing achey bodies after long walks, um no. :) I went for my lunchtime walk around Fellsmere Pond and found that *today* I'm achey from Saturday. Ah well, it was still a good workout. My ipod is being flakey (no, please don't die on me), but I got some music out of it. No Doubt is good music to work out to.
I really miss elliptical machines. What is wrong with me? I was going to do the fitness thing on my own, but I miss elliptical machines. Yeah, broken record. Soon I'll figure out the dance class/fitness thing and stop blabbing about it here :)
Another Amber Alert was noted on the radio - that's the 2nd in a couple of weeks: link

Date: 2004-08-09 12:56 pm (UTC)And, do they have classes?
And, when do you usually go? It would be awesome to have a workout buddy, but that would all depend on our schedules :)
My sister claims that "all the townies" go to WOW. It used to be that all the townies went to the Wave. Either way - if its cheap, not a total dive and has good stuff I'm game. I really loved Fitcorp (on Wyman Street - I went there when I worked in the same building) but they didn't have a ton of classes.
Re: WOW
Date: 2004-08-09 08:27 pm (UTC)There are several classes a day. I think you can pick up a schedule from them (or I can the next time I go). I usually go after work a couple of days a week and once on the weekend. They have a lot of equipment and the free weight room is separate so all the big guys can go lift there.
Like I said, I have a 14 day free pass you can use to try it and see if you like it. If you sign up after that, I get something for free - I think I get airline tickets or something.
