Sorry to hear of your families recent losses. Your uncle definatley sounds like a product of his generation, from his antics with the kids, retirement from Raytheon, and recognition of his service on destroyers during WW II, which was one of the most combat oriented ships to serve on, facing the axis on land, sea, and air.
