how cool!!! you guys looked awesome! how fun. i actually really enjoy watching GOOD belly dancers. they are mesmerising to me and so beautiful with all the sparkly outfits and jingling bells. i must have been a gypsy in a former life. :)
sometimes it's scary though... sometimes the ones that you see attempting to do it at renfaire as band groupies and not actual performers... are... not so good.

Heh, I know EXACTLY what you mean :) A friend of mine stayed away for this reason that night (and, she had other plans too - but the previous bad experiences helped too!).
did you see the number of belly dancers in the audience? I was so happy for Bardiyaz, her teacher (Seyyide was there, and dancing with a veil on the floor!) looked like she was loving the show!
