Not too much to say
Feb. 24th, 2005 08:23 amWork, less LJ, Craftyness, Goffee
I didn't get much accomplished yesterday of my own work. I mean, I was busy all day: I trained someone for the first 1/2 of the day and sat in an important meeting for the other 1/2. Here's hoping I'll have something to *show* for my efforts today.
I'm making efforts to spend less time in LJ land. I'm going to need to start working at 8:30 (technically, I should start at 8:00). That gives me from whenever I get in (between 7:30 and 8) till 8:30 to read e-mail and catch up on LJ. I'll check a couple times later in the day, but won't have them open all day. Its making me feel better, really. I prefer communication IRL, but see the value of this medium too . . .
Bills are paid, I'll have $ to buy myself a couple of goodies (Tori Amos CD, some crafty things). I think I'm buying some wooden knitting needles and starting the slytherin scarf again. Its too wide, has some issues (now that I've messed up I've learned how not to do that) and I'd like to be able to bring it on the plane with me on our trip. I may check out a knitting shop in Melrose during my lunch break. Tonight's a haircut (trim), dinner at home (Mexican), and goffee. Hope to see some of you there!
I have a question, is Agent Provocateur really worth its price? I own so much stuff that I can't really walk into a lingerie store and buy something interesting. I'd love to take that next step, but is it *really* worth it? We were looking at the website last night and decided to buy something when we're in London at one of their shops (a good souvenir of sorts). But is it really worth it?

Agent Provocateur
Date: 2005-02-28 09:54 pm (UTC)1) It's not made in China, unlike the crap at Victoria's Secret. Yes, Victoria's Secret is UTTER CRAP.
2) The line was started and still owned by Joseph Corre, the only son of Malcolm McClaren and Vivianne Westwood. So you are getting a bit of high class punkrock nautiness. Ooh, cheeky monkey!
I absolutely would get myself something from there. The corsets are fabulous!
