May 15 Charity Ride

Brian and I will be volunteering at the http://www.tbts.org/itemDetail.asp?categoryID=200&itemID=16308 and I'm hoping to get more 501st people to join us. I think its an appropriate cause given all of the fundraising we've done for http://www.jimmyfund.org/ (our main official charity) and the recent fundraising we've done for our founder's daughter, http://www.heartofanempire.com/Katie/ .

If you'd like to help us out we'll be cheering on the 50 mile riders at around noon at the waltham site (directions in the top URL) and helping the cleanup efforts at around 1:30. Hell, if you're lucky we may even throw an NEG t-shirt on you or put you in one of Brian's extra costumes. :)

Wow...thank you so much for helping me and my fiance with this. I'm just...floored, really. Wow. This is just, so amazingly...wow. Yeah, I just don't really have the words. Thank you thank you.

sunstealer is the fiance in question who will be biking the ride. I'm going to be there volunteering in some fashion or another.

And for all you 501st's out there...talk about a small world. Myself and a few of my girlfriends most likely got our pictures snapped with you at Arisia. We were the "Heinlein Society Naughty Nurses" that were right across the mezz from you all. And, to top that...the son of one of the teachers here at the school where I work, where this little girl goes to school...is one of you! I just met him this year at Arisia. *insert annoying disney song*

You guys rock. Dancer, you rock for doing this. I'm just all sorts of "awww...good people..." warm and fuzzy right now. I just can't even begin to thank you.
