Brian and I went to Not your Average Joe's for dinner last night. It had been a while. It was nice to spend my first Tuesday with no dance class with the hubby.

Then we went home to work on costumes. I stood in a bra in his computer room for almost an hour as he sculpted wire to match the contour of my boobs for the Slave Leia outfit. :) Then he put clay around said wire while I fought to threat the serger with a new color (I *almost* did it without assistance) and started working on the Leia skirt. I'm hoping to finish during the week, and get the rolled hem edges on my gold veil this weekend. Things are moving along.

It was so lovely today, with breezes coming in the window in early morning and sun that wasn't yet too hot.

It sounds like it's going to be lovely. What a great idea for a dance costume. I could never wear it meself, but I give props to you gals that can carry it off well.
