Addendum to the show . . .

dancerjodiThis year's production made a new record - we sold over 10,000 tickets! I can't believe that I danced for over 10,000 people!
The director pulled all of the dancers into the band room during intermission last night to tell us all that in the 19 years of the show's history he thought we were the best group of dancers (bears, tappers and soldiers).
And the choreographer asked me to join her and take her 6-week adult tap class in January. I was really flattered (though I can't do Wednesday nights and my old dance teacher Peggy would be really hurt if I took lessons with a 'competitor' in the city and not with her).
Dance Theater practices start in a few weeks (though there will only be a couple of practices and a couple of shows - and its only one dance). It will be nice to see some of the girls that I met in this show again (that is, if I decide to do DT).
I'm glad that its over, some free time and relaxation is really needed. At the same time I'm very sad and will miss the people I met, the experiences of teamwork that I had and some very fun dancing!
