dancerjodiThis afternoon is officially dragging! I've got stuff to do too! At least free pizza at lunch helped break up the monotony. Practice tonight! I can't believe that its already late June. Where is the summer going?
I'm hoping to finish my book this weekend, in addition to keeping cool in the insane heat we're to get tomorrow. I'll post more concrete thoughts next week, but for now I can say that I'm enjoying it and its raised some interesting issues but at the same time seems overly critical of a certain demographic (without needing to be to express a point). I'm sensing some bitterness or something that's fueling the work for one/both of the authors.
Perhaps I'll also continue with some knitting on Sunday in the air conditioned den (finally letting the rabbits out to run around - the room has been a workshop of sorts while getting the Leia costume together, and hence not safe for bunny roaming). I seem to be over halfway done with the nephew's gift so I should have no problem finishing it over the next 3 weeks.
