A bit more time to write

dancerjodiIt was a nice, but busy weekend. Friday's rehearsal went well and I picked up Tember on the way home. We enjoyed ice cream at http://www.lizzysicecream.com/ before watching some TV and heading to bed. Saturday would bring breakfast at http://www.roadsideonline.com/gfl/01_gfl_dlxtowndiner.html (finally, I check this place out). I had a great omelet with feta, spinach and bacon, homemade wheat toast, and an amazing menu with 20+ types of loose tea to choose from. We hightailed it out of the neighborhood (before people started pouring in for the annual Greek festival) to make a trip to http://www.penzeys.com/ in Arlington. Getting there too early for opening we spent some time in the fun Balich 5 and 10 store (where I bought a pink elephant watering can and one could find makeup products from the 80's). Afterward we'd relax at home with the fans before heading to the show.
It was a lot of fun, and I have some pics to share from 2 of the dances I was in (the first routine photos didn't come out apparently): http://www.tk7602.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=96 . The white costumes were to 10,000 Maniacs "Circle Dream" and the other one, duh! Developer taped the Cantina dance, so once its edited and up somewhere I'll share the link. Though my regular classes are done for the summer, dance will continue on Sundays at noon (Flamenco) and Tuesday nights at 6:30 (ballet - which I just got confirmation for today). I'm hoping to also catch some workshops and haflis here and there.
It should be an interesting couple of weeks with my boss on vacation, me taking Wednesday off, and work being closed next Monday. It will also be nice to get up to the beach, even if some showers are expected on Wednesday afternoon :)
