Tomorrow is the Red Sox game that Nate and I will be walking out on the field at (with a Chewie). For all of the initial excitement I'm kind of wishing I hadn't volunteered for it now.
The MOS is comping 2 tickets for us to see the game. I could care less. I'd much rather have my husband in a seat to take some good pictures and help me with my fricken hair (which I can't do myself). Instead there is a Red Sox ticket in presumably good seats in my name that's not transferable. Somehow I need to figure out my hair myself. If Brian does go it will be via him paying a lot of money for a ticket just to sit there until we throw out the first pitch, and then we'll be leaving the park. My seat will sit empty during what's apparently an exciting game (being the end of the season). I'll have to get myself back to the MOS via the T (which doesn't run all of the way to Science Park now). My parking which is supposed to be validated probably won't be, because the MOS person running this whole thing will be sitting and watching the game.
Ah well. We may be on NESN at around 6:15 apparently, though. Joy.

Date: 2005-09-28 03:23 pm (UTC)I'm kind of surprised the MOS is only giving you each one ticket. That would be understandable if you were best friends, or married, but you're not. If Chewie isn't sticking around, you could try and snag his ticket for Brian... As for the parking ticket validation, I think you can get that done when you get to the museum, before you go to the game. Last time I went to see Lori, they asked me if I needed my ticket validated before she came down and met me at the desk. (I didn't have a car though) As for the T, you can get off at North Station and take the t-shuttle to Museum Park (with a transfer ticket), but it's not a bad walk, either.
