From Brian:
"Knowing that you'd be wearing the scout helmet indoors all night, i took
the fans out of my TK helmet and put one in there for you.
i didn't feel like soldering in a switch, so it's the good old fashioned
"duct tape the battery in any go" style, but from my quick experiements,
it should make a big difference.
and, if for any reason it's a problem, it's easy enough to rip out.
i put one in the fett bucket, but it doesn't really do much of anything,
so i'm not going to bother powering it.
*smooch*"
Aw :)
Related, the Impala passed the Boba Fett challenge. Brian's massive rubbermaid bin that he puts most of the costume in *just* fits into my trunk (we were worried about the height of it). The bin that stays in there all of the time with my car stuff (jumper cables, gas can, ice scraper) fits with it in the back along with my Scout Armor bag in front. Gotta love it!
This weekend we'll try and fit a Tusken Raider, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Porkins (X-wing piolot) and Rebel Fleet trooper and all of their stuff in it to head to the Gala event on Saturday. Can you say perfect timing? Brian's truck is too high and wouldn't have fit in the Museum of Science garage (and I'd prefer to drive the out of towners staying with us there rather than them have to navigate Boston traffic/construction madness around the museum). Rock on!
