Bills are paid. I had some left over to start holiday shopping. BRIAN, this means if you're going to buy yourself something (aside from obscure Boba bits) you should check with me first, you goof!

Driving in with my Mom's car to work this morning was interesting. Its got way less pickup than my Impala (she's got a Jeep Cherokee). I would have assumed the opposite given that its an SUV. I can't wait to get Hedwig back for myself all new and improved. :)

Mom got a wheenie Jeep. Hers is only a 6 cylinder. She should've gotten the 8! (Especially considering how much it cost her)

Often SUVs don't have a ton of pick up since they are built for towing versus speed. The way the transmission gear are set up tend to be very different. A six in your car is geared for smooth speed, while in a 'real' jeep it would be geared towards towing a boat or crawling over rocks, tasks that require power and torque but not speed.

Hopefully your Impala will be back soon.
