Its Friday finally. Its been a crazy week at work and there's been a lot of running around otherwise. I'm hoping today and tonight to take care of business, get back to a normal calm state, and get ready for the craziness that will be the next two weeks (planning a con table, Thanksgiving, the kitchen).

Sort of related, there have been times when annoying things in my life have just gotten too annoying. At those times despite some awkwardness, its been necessary to remove said awkward thing. Its nice to be reminded what a good decision that was sometimes.

Despite my best intentions to go to Exmortis tonight I don't think we'll make it. There are 500 other things that I'd like to (or should be) doing. Where has my club desire gone? I want to go dancing, but have no interest in clubbing (if that makes any sense)? I want to get dressed up but have increasing lack of interest in "the scene", such as it is in Boston.

Brian was on TV yesterday on the Today Show with the Donald (he was the Scout in the back on the Vader side of the lineup - you could see his bucketed face in a lot of the shots). Perhaps a video clip will follow later :)

In crafty news, I have all of the supplies collected for Gram's mini gazebo. I can't wait to get into it (with some assistance from Brian and his dremel) and see how it all comes out.

I think this is a fabulous project. I know if one of my grand daughters did this for me, I would be all choked up. So very thoughtful of you!
