I love, love, LOVE these soldiers! When I was little and we'd go shopping at Shopper's World (their original home), I would run around the second level and touch the tops of the hats.

*sigh* I loved the old Shopper's World this time of year. The Santa train that used to go around the courtyard, the gazebo that Santa sat in...somehow the strip malls that have replaced the first fresh-air mall aren't the same for me. AC Moore tries to heal the pain...

I miss Shopper's World too :) They had the BEST mall santa ever, with the real beard and the deer and stuff. My first bunny was from the Debbie's Pet Land that was there. And, I remember spending time in that dusty old new age store (House of Zodiac?) before the mall closed . . .
