Last night
Dec. 30th, 2005 08:25 amAfter dinner Brian and I sat in the living room, each on our own couch geeking and reading. The cat came by at one point and snuggled up to me on the fleece blanket that my sister bought us for Xmas a few years ago. I caught up on the newspaper, my Bust magazine and read a bit more of Freakonomics. I let my body lead the way, and went up to bed at about 9:00 when I just couldn't focus on the text on the pages anymore.
I'm feeling so good today, its kind of suprising. I still have a bit of the cold wooginess, but I didn't need to take any meds this morning to keep going. Things in my nose and chest are more solid, so I know the cold is working its way out. Go me! I think this is the fastest I've gotten over this stage of illness. As a kid I constantly had bronchial issues and its only been the last few years that I've found the right combination of things that work to get healthier faster (rather than knock me out for weeks).
Off to work! Here's hoping the day goes by quickly (I know it won't, but one can hope, right?).
