I want to ride my bicycle,
Jan. 13th, 2006 01:47 pmI want to ride my bike! Damn songs getting stuck in my head! :)
In all seriousness though, I'm pondering if I want to do a charity bike ride in May for brain tumor research. A couple of 501st members went last year to cheer on the returning riders, and it seems like there is larger interest in the group this year (it will be easier, because it won't be post the ROTS madness).
They have a short 10 mile ride route, and I'm thinking I may want to do it in partial armor (or at least, exercise clothes of a Star Wars bent, a costumeish outfit). I'm a pretty active person but haven't been biking in YEARS! I have a good, tuned up bicycle in my garage that I just need to get out riding. So for my biker friends, do you think given some training it will be a breeze for a relatively already healthy/active person? 10 miles biking doesn't seem like *that* much. I think it could be a neat challenge.
