Heavy Metal Karaoke

Thanks to Tember, we now have a name of a place that at one point did Heavy Metal Karaoke. Does anyone live in or near Manchvegas that can confirm this (that they still do it, and if so when)?

Here's the general info I was able to find googling:
UPTOWN TAVERN
1301 Elm St.; 666-0909
Sunday: Karaoke and dance music with DJ Eze, 8 p.m. and open mike with Brian Morse, 9:15 p.m.; Wednesdays: open mike with Morse Code and Karaoke and dance with DJ Nawty; Thursday: Karaoke and dance with DJ Nascar Chris, 8 p.m. and jam night with Josh Logan, 9:15 p.m.; Friday: DJ and dance with DJ Nascar Chris, 8 p.m.; Saturday: Karaoke and dance with DJ Nawty, 8 p.m.

They also have a wretched Myspace page with a ton of pictures that I wasn't able to find any useful information on.

Something tells me that he may not have Judas Priest in easy reach.....

Not it is not METAL but it is the closest I have seen, they also had more than what people were singing and it has been about five years since i have been there.

the boy and i sooo generally love going there.... we get to dance and we used to get free drinks from the lovely bartender renee (who looks a lot like peta wilson - la femme nikita). she alone is worth the trip... and i am always up for karaoke if anyone wants to plan a trip!

Our House East (back bay) has A LOT of heavy metal songs. I've sung everything from maiden, to queensryche, to dio there.
