I got my AT-AT driver boots last night at a store in Stoneham of all places!. Such a deal (and such luck!)! Here they are:

I took off the pink cord on the back, need to remove or cover the brand name that's black on the back of the heel, and I'm going to see if I can remove that clear plastic triangle on the front with a seam ripper. $25! That's way better than trying to craft my own or buying one for $80 from some sketchy place in Singapore . . .

My jumpsuit is ordered (and I bought an extra one to rip apart and make pockets with, to sew onto the one I'll be wearing). Almost there!

When are you going to wear your new costume? Is this a specific con-debut thing, or are you just adding to your collection?

It will replace the biker scout as my imperial armored costume (I don't wear the Mara Jade much, since most don't know who she is) . . .
