My exciting weekend

dancerjodiThis morning I got out of bed to find a pile of puke on the Craft Room floor. Clean that up and head into the bathroom to find the pee-pad under the litter box was soaked and didn't quite catch everything, so I cleaned up the box, floor and put a new pad there. After bringing the laundry downstairs I found a pile of dried pee near the backdoor in our kitchen and a few cat poops on the rug nearby. I got THAT cleaned up, started the laundry, and heading into the living room to catch up on e-mail and LJ saw another puke pile on the rug (a bit older, an already dried up that we hadn't caught yet).
Ah, life with an old cat . . .
In more positive news, we had a great time at Friday's Burlesque show at TT's (with the Pontani Sisters), Saturdays birthday shindig (karaoke!) and Sundays spending time together and lounging. Today is costume day, where I'll spend a good chunk of time working on the Leia dress (in addition to doing mountains of loads of the aforementioned laundry). I'd like to just get the sewing out of the way, since I need the Leia dress soon (3/5) and need to get working on that AT-AT jumpsuit for 3/19. After those are done I'm going to be working on a fun project (sewing up a dress with a vintage star wars sheet)!
