Curses, foiled again!
Apr. 17th, 2006 11:05 amThat's the 2nd time I've put on my dirty work clothes, set up everything in the bathroom to start painting on chemical stripper and going to town, removing paint, only to find I can't open the stripper can. Damn! The first time around it had a safety lock on it that turned out to be broken. Brian cut off the lock, but the regular metal top is stuck on there fairly well. So much for getting that out of the way.
I hate small home improvement projects that linger, like that and our peeling window sill inside the shower that we need to slap a tiny bit of tile on. The big stuff gets done in time, but the small dumb things linger.
Ah well, I'll do some running around picking up things we need all over the place, like the pet store, Trader Joe's and the Container Store. Phear my exciting life!
