Friday I'm in love
Jun. 23rd, 2006 08:40 amI am, actually! I'm excited about the weekend, and happy that Brian and I were able to have some time together last night *cough* unhampered by illness, menstruation, dying cats, new spaz monkey cats or severe humidity.
This weekend will bring two birthday parties, trooping for Hasbro, breakfast with a friend, strawberry picking with other friends, and some time getting the house in order (and sanding the antique bureau finally). I really am a lucky gal.
Brian and I had our first dinner out together while on WW. We went to Margarita's since I had a $10 off coupon to use during my birthday month. Wouldn't you know, I forgot it, so we may be going there again next week for dinner at some point. It was tough not eating those chips and salsa, but when our fajitas arrived I slopped a liberal helping of that yummy salsa onto my food. I even had leftovers for lunch today! Brian didn't do as well with it (no leftovers to speak of), but you live and learn. I'm still finding myself going over 20 points each day (yesterday was 23 versus T and Wed 22). Again, I have those flex points for special circumstances to fall back on so I'm still under (overall).
We're making ginger pork and banana skewers for dinner tonight, mmm!: http://www.weightwatchers.com/food/rcp/index.aspx?recipeId=95271
Next week I'll be back to dance class (though, only once a week) and things will be back to normal. I'm thinking I may (afterall) check out belabody.com despite the cost. I'm not sure how to work the gym into my schedule that won't make my commutes home in the resulting traffic miserable. Bela is right down the street, and working out with people in a class is much more my vibe. I'll try and check them out next week.
