I love one of the Lush masks, and after using it for a couple of months and then not using it for almost a month, I saw how much good it was doing for me. Since the stuff has to be kept in the fridge and only lasts about 3 weeks, I needed to head out and get more.
Each trip I've made to Lush I've picked up my mask and one other item to try. I usually tend to find one product I like and stick with it. This will be the case with certain things, but there are other products I've wanted to try and replace - my bar soap is one of them. I don't like frouffy gels, and hated normal glycerine soaps because they didn't seem to clean so well, and left a bit of a film behind. As such, I was using Dial soap for the longest time, but not too excited about it. Brian hates it (he thinks its slimy) and I'm not nuts about the company that makes it. That and all of the chemicals and all that stuff. Today I tried one of the Lush bars: http://usa.lush.com/cgi-bin/lushdb/079?expand=Soap:upd=y . After mowing the lawn and weeding for an hour and getting completely covered with dirt and sweat, it was a true test for the thing and thus far, I'm liking it. Its gets a good lather (unlike other glycerine soaps), smells SO good (lime and lavender) and has a slight exfoliating thing going on without being abrasive.
So another point for Lush! Thus far I'm using their brazened honey mask, charcoal face soap, this new body bar soap, and Brian has been using one of their shampoo bars (meant for dandruff prone people, and he really likes it too). Pretty neat!
