Yay!

My closet now has all of my clothes in it, whoot! The bureau got its hopefully final (and high gloss) coat of poly yesterday, so when we have time we can move it up to the bedroom. I need to just suck it up and get those drawer pulls polished and sprayed with clear lacquer (so they don't tarnish again) by the end of the weekend.

We both slept in our own bed together last night, leaving Mal alone for the first time in over a week since his accident. It seems that as he's feeling better he's getting more crazy and antsy being in that room. When we're in there he seems to get overly excited, wants to play, and runs around more but if we're not in there he lays still, bored with his surroundings. I feel so bad for the little guy, but we need to try and keep him safe, so we won't be spending as much time in there with him as we have been. Only a couple more weeks little man! Jayne has also been acting like a spaz - you can really tell how well they serve each other in getting out excess energy!

I'm doing crafty stuff today/tonight, trooping tomorrow, and helping my sister at her new house on Sunday. We'll hopefully also catch Snakes on a Plane on Saturday night (did anyone see Samuel L. Jackson on this week's Daily Show? It was a riot!). I'm looking forward to a mix of productive time at home, time with family and friends, and time out of the house.

This may sound crazy...and it might not be feasible...but have you tried temporarily moving the furniture around?

Our cats LOVE that. They get all excited.

We can't move too much stuff in that room because our entertainment center and couch are fairly large (and the room isn't too huge either).

We do need to put up some shelves, put our media onto said shelves, and remove the media shelf we've been using, so doing that may entertain him for a while - thanks!
