I used to post these on a daily basis (as I was reminded in my quest to read through old LJ entries). They used to come from the company intranet at THP and when I changed jobs I'd pull them from a motivational book of quotations from my Dad.

I'll start doing it again, because they were helpful to me, and it was something that some people seemed to look forward to.

Related to this, there's been a naked shelf on the bookcase in the den that I've been trying to figure out what to fill with. It had to be something that was cat friendly, since the little buggers get into anything. I'm going to move inspirational books that my Dad has bought for me over the last few years there, per his request. He's a big self help book fan, and started buying the three of us a selection of books each year for Christmas, asking us to put them in a special place to consult when needed. So Dad, I'm finally doing it . . .
