Here's what he said about it: "I'd take $300 for the armor and throw the soft parts in "as-is", maile *not* included. So that would be shoulders, bracers, greaves for $300, and the cape, inner and outer surcoats for free. Size is roughly a men's XL, a bit on the bigger end of that."
The leather was made by our favorite gothy leatherworker friend - the belt is all hand engraved and is able to hold a sword. The trees of gondor on the armor (all leather) were stamped - he ordered custom stamps to have this all done.
The surcoats have some issues, but they are large enough that if you wanted to keep the fabric I know you'd have no issue tailoring them to Curtis (and hey, they are free anyway). The outer tunic is this funky leather-looking, shiny synthetic fabric and the tree of gondor is painted on. The inner tunic is probably something like a cotton . . . we weren't too picky since you couldn't see much of it.
Think about it and let me know. Brian would probably want payment via paypal, and for you guys to pay shipping (though the leather bits weren't the heavy part - it was the maile that caused that problem bringing it to DC, so I don't imagine shipping would be too much).
I think Curtis would make an AWESOME Aragorn, my desire to sell these things aside. :)
