I haven't been blown away by the latest Chili Peppers Album (Stadium Arcadium) but I really do love a few of the songs. They are the one band I haven't seen live that I'd really like to catch - maybe on the next tour?

Either way, here's one of the songs I like for its lyrics, simplicity and an almost tribal quality to the bass and drumming. It would be a great wedding song

I LOVE the Chilli Peppers. I have seen them four times, starting with the Mother's Milk tour at the Orpheum Theater in 1990. I have seen them play with 3 different guitarists, John Fruscanti, Arik Marshall (on the Lollopalooza 1992 tour) and Dave Navarro. That said, the whole reason to see them is Flea. The righteous bass god is still the punkest funkest maniac out there. One of the best live bands out there, hands down. Mother's Milk is still my favorite album, "Knock Me Down" would be my favorite Chilli Peppers song.

Mine too! The album, not sure about the song (I like Knock me Down and Higher Ground kind of equally).

Flea is definitely the man. I've always been an Anthony Keidis fan myself - I've just been into that type of guy since I was too young to know what being into someone was. :)
