Man, I can't believe its already Thursday!
I went out to visit the Di's and baby Leo last night. Oh my God what a cutie! I got to see his first ever smile (so cute) and hold him a bit more, and it was nice to catch up with them over dinner. What hit me last night while talking with Di about a relative of hers and a situation they are in is that most people around me are experiencing serious growth in one form of another - albeit positive or negative. People are having babies, moving away, breaking up, getting married, etc. Nobody is doing anything half-assed at the moment. I try to live my life this way generally, its just odd to see it happening to so many at the same time and ironically, at the most appropriate time of the year for this kind of drastic change (in tune with nature and all of that).
Post the visit Brian and I ran out to the supermarket and watched some of the 501st Dragoncon DVD. Alas, the whole Dawn contest isn't on there (just clips of it) so Brian wasn't able to see how Anthony Daniels was so out of character as emcee. Watching the debauchery after the fact does make me sentimental about it. I have so much fun sometimes and other times I'm just wandering around, bored and trying to find something to do. Going there is also quite expensive. We're really torn on it next year, but I think we need to stick to seeing other parts of the world we haven't explored yet.
I'm debating seeing American Hardcore tonight, but part of me would like to stay around home with Brian. Its playing at 7:30 and 9:55, so we'd have to rush to the first one or get out very late from the second one. Hrm.
Have a great weekend all - I'm going to try and stay away from this thing as much as I can in exchange for real people and experiences! :)

I'm starting to feel better - I'm hoping to be able to schedule a popping by later in the week. I'll email/call, more likely email I'd hate to wake anyone.
