I love Thursdays. We're more than halfway through the work week, I get paid, and the weekend is on the horizon.

Brian and I checked out Acapulco's in Watertown last night finally http://www.yelp.com/biz/R_FxL3Cv6AJ0MxDgrbHQOQ . It was really yummy, and I feel silly that its taken us so long to get in there. If you're in the area and like Mexican, check them out. The salsa could have been a bit chunkier for my tastes (though, it was still yummy) but other than that I have no complaints.

We decided to skip grocery shopping and try PeaPod instead for the first time (we'll see how it goes with our delivery Friday), so since we had the night free we headed to Barnes and Noble. I had a coupon for a free drink in the cafe, since I'm a club member, and we saved $8 between the two of us on our book purchases. If you shop there anyway, its something worth checking out:

I'm looking forward to spending time around the house tonight (save for meeting my Brother's new kitten) and tomorrow. Brian starts his on-call rotation and the weekend will nuts since we'll basically be living at Supermegafest during the days, so I'm trying to enjoy the free time while I have it and take care of things beforehand that I'd normally do on the weekend. I'm jonesing for club dancing or a show, but that will just have to wait - maybe over Thanksgiving weekend? I can't belive Thanksgiving is next week!

Will you make a post about your experience with PeaPod afterwards? I'm thinking it is the way I need to go - I HATE the damn market, I hate going and I always spend too much. If the roomie and I can go once a month to BJs, that I can deal with, for staples, and have the fresh stuff delivered more often.

Also, if you have time, I'd love to bend your ear and get some professional advice. I'm having a hard time with some scheduling, and I'd love to get your opinion. Maybe I can take you out for lunch? Whenever you have a free few hours (hardee har har right? *LOL*) and I don't mind making an appointment (see scheduling *lol* again)

Thanks for the heads up, we've been looking for a nearby Mexican place for a bit now.

On the B&N membership front, I just signed up for the B&N credit card. The "annual fee" is the B&N membership fee, and you get an additional 5% off purchases (refunded to the card on the day of the purchase). I didn't need an another credit card, but for a total of 15% off, I thought I could use it just for B&N purchases. And interesting note: I got 5% off my membership fee because it is technically a purchase at B&N ;) Also supposed to get discount on gift cards, so that's kinda cool... *shrug* I feel kinda bad recommending it because I'm not a person who thinks 20 bajillion credit cards is a good idea, but if everyone pays it off at the end of the month it does make a good discount.

My in-laws took us to Aculpoco's in Milford last Friday night, since I'd been having Mexican cravings for a while. YUM. I cleaned my plate, looked up and everyone else was only halfway thru theirs, hehe. I can't wait to go back ASAP.
