dancerjodiWhat a great time! I hope that they bring the Sing a Long Mary Poppins http://www.regenttheatre.com/events/mary_poppins.htm back next year, because R and I had a lot of fun at it. A lot of people were in costume and it was neat embracing that cheezy part of me that a lot of people apparently share - it was a sold out show.
I think it was important to do that kind of thing, because I had a minor meltdown on Saturday night before bed over all of the things we're doing or alternately not doing. Silly me! I should take a tip from Julie Andrews and just chill a bit, turning bread and water into tea and cakes.
With a clear head I was able to make a lot of progress on my holiday dress last night, and all that's left tonight is to sew in the sleeves and hem it. I'll try and get a pic of it to show you all (since we've got other photos to get off the camera from Thanksgiving anyway) before its debut at the yacht club party on Friday.
