Along those 'could it get dorkier' lines, Brian has purchased his first screen used movie prop - its a fake can of peaches from serenity (the can on the bottom, not the label)

With shipping its $202. For an empty can. Of fake peaches.

He got a bonus at work lately and wanted to do something fun with it. Not being much of a collector and not being big into celebrity I can think of lots of things to do with $200, but its not my money (I'm not upset about it, as much as confused and amused). He hadn't actually told me about this, but I found out when our bank left a message on our answering machine to verify a charge they found questionable (since it was a large amount paid to a UK company). Heh!

it's not an empty can. it has food of some sort in it. though peaches are highly unlikely. the world will never know, since i have no intention of opening it.

and hey, look on the bright side... if i ever regret it, it's got a great resale value. ;)

The Propstore of London listing said it was empty, weird (unless they have a few).

So what form of death would you choose to the poor sap who suddenly has a yen for peaches during a party and opens it?

:)

$200 would get you an HD-DVD drive for your XBox 360 so you could watch Serenity and pause it for screen accuracy details.

We have an HD-DVD drive for the Xbox already . . .

Ah. I figured Brian would've posted about it... or maybe he did, and I missed it.

heehee, sounds like something my former fiance would have done (before he got married and had a baby, that is).
Boys are so silly, especially with stuff like that.
